You grab an Alexa 35 and Kowa Anamorphics to shoot a highly stylized lifestyle spot. Lens flares, nice focus roll off, and beautiful bokeh. You roll though the pre-installed Moonrock LUTs and settle on Fashion2. It helps the colors pop without affecting skin tone.

You pickup a triple FX6 package with autofocus sony glass to cover a live event. It has everything you need. Zooms for coverage, primes for speed in that dark auditorium. Tripods, hand held rigs, mics, filters, a small gimbal for floating wides.

2nd Rental Day of the Month

Your next shoot is a product shoot back at the studio. You use two camera days on your one day shoot to have a Sony Venice 2 station and a high speed Freefly Ember station . The 8.6k 3:2 Sony sensor makes 16:9 and 9:16 delivery super quick. You pick sharp and clean Leica glass for A-Cam. B cam gets probe lenses for high speed macro work.

The CEO drops a last minute interview on your plate. You only have one in house camera available but you definitely want 2 angles for the edit. You bring in a Moonrock FX6 package to match the camera you have in house. You want a bit of style but nothing too crazy so you pick a pair of Angenuiex zooms. They’re kind on faces and the zoom helps with last minute adjustments. The Moonrock prep tech knows that our FX6 has an E to PL adapter in the kit. He’s not sure about your in house camera so he sends a spare.

  • A rental day is

  • No problem. Each camera package uses 1 shoot day. If you need 2 Alexa 35s for one shoot day that would count as 2 days of your five day minumum. Or $2,000 for that shoot day.

  • The double camera packages are designed to make 2 camera shoots even more affordable. They use older systems that still make incredible images but have fallen out of favor with the high end clients. Cameras like the Alexa Mini or Venice1.

    A double camera package only uses one day despite being 2 cameras.

    Double camera packages share one set of lenses.

  • No problem. The 5 day minimum garuntees us enough days to justify the crazy steep discount. You can always use more days at $1,000/day per package. These would be invoiced outside of the standard subscription.
